Miss Oops Pedicure in a Bottle Review

I can't wait to tell you about a product that I have recently tried. This one is from Miss Oops and they provided me a product to try called Pedicure in a Bottle.

Who is Miss Oops?
Miss Oops manufactures and markets a variety of beauty-saving, problem-solving products for women. The Miss Oops brand comprises of several patent-pending products, including a dry sponge that removes deodorant marks and a medical-grade adhesive that prevents pregnant women’s navels from showing through their garments. The mission of Miss Oops is to provide affordable solution-oriented products for all types of beauty dilemmas and avoidable fashion faux pas for women everywhere.

What did I get to review?

Pedicure in a Bottle - 4.5 oz.

What do I think of Miss Oops Pedicure in a Bottle?
This product does exactly what it promises to do. It doesn't make your feet feel like sandpaper. When I first put the product on my feet I knew it would be different. I've tried so many different exfoliating lotions and none of them kept my skin from getting rough again. The product goes on so smooth and hydrated my tough, cracked, flaking skin. The very first ingredient is purified water so I knew it was going to be different. I love to wear flip flops but shy away from them because of the way my heals look. So bad, espeically in the summer. The lotion allowed me to still be that mom on the go. I put it on in the morning and just put on my shoes and went to work. So easy. I love easy. At night, I just put some more on and went to bed. In two weeks I had significantly better looking skin. I'm not embarrased to wear flip flops anymore!

How can you get your own Pedicure in a Bottle?
You can order this product online for $18.00 through their website at http://www.missoops.com/. To find a retailer near you, go HERE to do a search for stores in your area that carry this product.

Disclosure: I was provided a sample of the product to facilitate this review at no cost and was not compensated for reviewing this sample. The opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine. Thank you to the generous people at Miss Oops for providing me the sample. Content and photos are from the Miss Oops website.

Feed Our Kids Well with New Ragu Old World Style Traditional Sauce

These days, everyone needs help eating the recommended amount of fruits and veggies per day. I was excited to learn that Ragu can help me do that. Did you know that Ragu's Old World Style Traditional Sauce packs 2 servings of veggies in every half cup of sauce? Yep, that's right! Available soon in major retailers nationwide, the healthy, great tasting Ragu Old World Style Traditional pasta sauce has a thicker recipe full of veggies!

At our house, I'm the home cook and I'm constantly trying to come up with meals that don't take me long to cook and will satisfy my family of three. As I was surfing Ragu's website, I saw some really yummy recipes I could make using the jar sauces like Ragu Sloppy Joes and 3-Cheese Stromboli!

To be one of the first to taste Ragu's Old World Style Traditional Sauce with 2 servings of veggies in every half cup, visit their Facebook Page for more details!

Disclosure: I was entered for a chance to win a Ragu prize package in exchange for writing this post. No monetary exchange took place.

Frugal Recipe: Pepperoni Rolls

Remember when I first showed you how to make homemade crescent rolls?
Well, my family craves pepperoni rolls quite often but I don't want to pay $1.50 for one roll at the pizza restaurant. So, I came up with this one day after finding some all-natural pepperoni at the store. It's SUPER easy and your family will love these. They are addicting and even my two year old loves to eat them.

First, you'll want to make the recipe for the homemade crescent rolls.

You'll need the following ingredients:
2 Cups Warm Water
2 TBS Yeast (two packages)
1/2 Cup Sugar
3 Eggs
3/4 Cup Melted Butter
6 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp. salt

Directions:

In Large Bowl, add warm water, yeast and sugar.
Mix together with wire whisk.
Wait a few minutes, then add eggs and melted butter.
Mix together well.
Add flour to bowl, one cup at a time.
I just used a wooden spoon to mix together.
After you add the 4th and 5th cup of flour, it will become very thick and hard to mix.
After you add the 6th cup of flour, dough will become sticky and will separate from sides of bowl.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and kitchen towl.
Put in warm place in the kitchen.
Let rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
After an hour, punch down dough to remove air.

Put 1/2 of dough on floured surface and use floured rolling pin to rollout into a circle.

Cut into individual wedges with pizza cutter.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Now, gather ingredients to make the pepperoni rolls.
1 package of all-natural pepperoni
shredded mozzerella cheese

Directions:
Sprinkle shredded mozzerella cheese on crescent roll dough.
Place 3 or 4 pepperoni down the center of the crescent roll dough.
Roll up like a crescent roll.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Repeat until all your rolls are stuffed.

I was able to make about 32 pepperoni rolls with this recipe.
When I pulled them out of the oven, they were gone. I mean it took all of 5 seconds
to wolf them down.  I couldn't even take a picture of them.

But they looked very similar to this:

Another great tip is to make all of these and stuff them in freezer ziplock baggies. I put four of these little tasty tidbits in individual baggies and froze a bunch. You just take them out of the freezer when you want them and wrap them in a paper towel and put them in the microwave for one minute. They are excellent warmed up!

I hope you enjoy them!

Happy Snacking!

Frugal Recipe: Crock Pot Turkey Breast with Cranberry Chutney

This is a fabulous weekend meal that you just
throw into the crockpot and forget about.

Crock Pot Turkey Breast with Cranberry Chutney

Recipe adapted from this recipe.

Ingredients:
2-3 Lbs. of Turkey Breasts
1 Can of Whole Cranberries in Sauce
1 Envelope of Lipton's Onion Herb Soup Mix

Directions:
Place thawed turkey breasts in medium size crock pot.
In small bowl, mix together can of cranberries and onion soup mix.
Pour over turkey breasts.
Place lid on crock pot and cook on high for two hours.
Then turn it to low for another six hours.
Pour remaining liquid in small saucepan.
Cook on medium high heat until thick and bubbly.
Pour over sliced turkey breast and serve.

I chose to serve it with a traditional cornbread stuffing
since I got it for free at the store and it was easy to make.

One Bath and Body Bar Soap Review

I'm back to tell you about more great products from One Bath and Body. They provided me another fabulous product to try and tell you all about it!

Who is One Bath and Body?
One is committed to promoting natural beauty without compromising the beauty of the earth, providing eco-friendly products in recyclable, plastic-free packaging to rejuvenate the spriti and save the planet.  One exclusively packages its collections in recyclable cardboard cartons and metal tins, housing nourishing, natural products in equally planet-friendly containers.

What did I Get?

One Bath and Body's Natural Bar Soap in "Sweet Honey" - 3oz.

What do I Think of One's Natural Bar Soap?
In our house, you will always find bar soap in the shower.  It's a staple. We aren't big shower gel or body wash people so bar soap plays a huge role in getting our family clean. I was excited to try One's Natural Body Soap mainly because it was 98% Natural and 100% safe for the environment. My skin is sensitive so it was good knowing that the soap contained natural ingredients without harsh chemicals. I loved the "sweet honey" fragrance. It had a mild and sweet scent and was very smooth on the skin. I noticed that my skin was fresh feeling and smooth to the touch. This would make a wonderful stocking stuffer for the upcoming holidays!

How can you get your own One Natural Bar Soap?
The One's Natural Bar Soaps are available at Target and Walgreens and retails for $5.99.  The Natural Bar Soaps are available in "Just 4 Me!", "Blast From the Past", "Peace", "Sweet Honey", "Citrus Peel" and "Extra Virgin."

Disclosure: I was provided a sample of the product to facilitate this review at no cost and was not compensated for reviewing this sample. The opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine. Thank you to the generous people at One Bath and Body for providing me the sample.
